HOW DO I BOOK A CLEANING SERVICE?
All you have to do is click "Book now" on our homepage. Then you enter all relevant cleaning needs and details and within 60 seconds you're on your way to a clean and sparkly home. We'll do our best to reply on the same business day to confirming your cleaning and schedule request for date and arrival time. You can always call (202) 618-0562 for live help or to chat with us if you have any questions about booking.
Yes, we do require a credit card to hold the scheduled date and time of your cleaning service; but your card is not charged at booking, it's simply put on hold. We do not charge your card until after your professional cleaning service has been completed.
Definitely! Our cleaning teams are trained on how to treat dogs, cats, and other common household pets. We know how to love, respect and care for them, but please let us know if you have any special concerns regarding our cleaning team being in your home with your pet.
A deep clean is for first-time customers or customers who haven't had their home professionally cleaned in the last 3 months. To see the extra services provided under our deep clean commitment, check out our Services page.
The following is a list of services our cleaning teams do not provide:
-Wet wiping of lightbulbs
-Resurfacing/waxing/refinishing of floors
-Empty dishwashers, putting away dishes
-Moving large furniture
-Large-scale trash disposal
-Animal waste clean-up, including insect, rodent, and household pets
-Biohazardous waste clean-up and removal (including mold, blood, bodily fluids)
-Heavy scrubbing of doors and walls
The following is a list of household items that our cleaning teams do not clean:
A great deal of time and effort are put into finding and training the highest quality cleaners to make up the Ecoverde Maids team. We require all employees to go through a strenuous background check process, and as such, we would like to keep our teams in tact and on staff. We ask clients not to independently hire past or present Ecoverde Maids cleaners unless you pay Ecoverde Maids a $3,000 referral fee. This amount is due in full upon personal employment of the cleaner.
No, absolutely not! What's important is that we are able to access your home, whether that's through you letting us in and showing us around, through your building's concierge service, or simply by informing our team about your key box code outside. If you do provide access for the team, it's your choice whether you want to stick around or go out and take advantage of your free time. If you leave, be sure to let them team know how to lock up when they are done. Our cleaning teams do not hold on to keys so we will need ongoing access if you are a repeat client.
Yes, they do! If you need proof of insurance, simply email us at [email protected] and we'll gladly forward you all relevant documentation.
It all depends on the condition of your home! But as a baseline, take the number of bedrooms you have and turn that into hours( eg. 3 bedrooms = 3 hours).
We ask that you provide us with a 24-hour notice for cancellations and 48-hours for changes related to your scheduled cleaning. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment time will incur a $70 charge.
